Co-Production & Collaboration Continues

As IF YOU LIVED HERE makes its Season 3 premiere on January 9, 2023 on WETA PBS, it feels wonderful to reflect on the journey of our show and all that's been accomplished.

Season 1 first began filming in the summer of 2020 as one of the ONLY shows to go INTO production during Covid-19. Given those very serious and surreal circumstances, the show's format, self-guided tours, even the distance between our hosts, John & Christine, and their realtor counterparts, were ALL initially developed with safety in mind. And the success from that approach to filming yielded results that were both unique and organic.

Throughout the filming of our first 12 neighborhoods, 36 houses and countless interviews with neighbors, historians, musicians, chefs, business owners, dog-walkers, you name it - (all without any Covid incidents) - there was a real sense of purpose + a constant sense of discovery and surprise.

         - Lost histories and racial injustices were revealed.

         - Hidden gems of architecture and designs were discussed.

         - And well-known neighborhood facts and favorites were shared.

Thanks to everyone's dedication, curiosity, and effort, IF YOU LIVED HERE is now WETA PBS' most popular local show ever produced, and the increased amount of content created by Leapfrog and shared across WETA's digital and social channels + the PBS Passport is pushing our show and WETA's reach to new and innovative heights.

With three seasons on the air, 36 episodes filmed & edited, 40 neighborhoods visited, 109 houses toured, and so many important histories and stories told, the series rolls on!
